For those of you that don’t follow TNA, Matt Hardy won the TNA World Championship at Bound For Glory with an assist from his brother Jeff who was special guest referee. Former TNA World Champion EC3 then filed an injunction which will prevent Matt Hardy from competing in TNA. The court hearing for the injunction (this is a storyline…duh) will prevent Matt Hardy from competing in TNA for several months. As a reaction to this turn of events, Hardy has vacated the TNA World Championship saying that this decision is best for fans.
Anyway, yeah that’s the storyline. PWInsider notes that this storyline has been in the works since July. TNA will issue a statement regarding the future of the TNA World Championship on Wednesday and the storyline will reportedly address the future of the title on Wednesday’s edition of Impact.
