Earlier in the show Bayley met with Stephanie McMahon backstage, and Stephanie told her that she never wanted her on Raw, and it was Mick Foley who pushed for her to be called up. Dave Meltzer noted recently on Wrestling Observer Radio that the idea is for the Bayley storyline to be similar to WrestleMania XXX storyline involving Daniel Bryan and his pursuit of the WWE Championship.

It was noted that the current plan is for Bayley to continue chasing the belt with her first title win likely happening at WrestleMania 33. There’s no word on the finish for her match with Charlotte at the Royal Rumble in January, but it’s expected that Bayley won’t be winning the belt at the event.

During the first episode of Bring It To The Table on the WWE Network, Paul Heyman talked about Conor McGregor possibly coming to WWE, and he said that he thinks it would be great for WWE and even better for Conor McGregor.
