Former WWE Champion Roman Reigns was suspended last month just days after he lost his title in the main event of Money in the Bank. Reigns violated the WWE Wellness Policy for the first time, and after news of the violation hit the internet Reigns owned up to his mistake on social media.
Roman Reigns will be returning to WWE live events this weekend and he will also be wrestling in the WWE Championship match at Money in the Bank on Sunday.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer reported that the word going around backstage in WWE is that Roman Reigns was suspended because he tested positive for Adderall.
Adderall is used to treat ADHD but it is banned by most sports leagues. Earlier this year former WWE Superstar Adam Rose was suspended after he violated the WWE Wellness Policy when he tested positive for Adderall. Rose never returned as he requested his release during his suspension.
Roman Reigns was absent for the WWE Draft on Tuesday but he was drafted in the second and Mick Foley drafted him to Raw so he will be exclusive to the red brand when he returns.
