Backstage News On Rey Mysterio’s Future With WWE

According to PWInsider.com Rey Mysterio may be on his way out of WWE. Rey’s contract expires in 3 months and it’s said that WWE hasn’t been very aggressive when it comes to signing him to a new deal. The report says that there’s no longer a top spot available for Rey and that many within the company feel that he is looking at these next few months as his final run before he finishes up with WWE.

Their report then goes on to mention that people within WWE believe he might end up on the new AAA show when it debuts on the El Rey Network in the fall. Konnan is said to be very involved with the show and he remains very close to Rey Mysterio.
