Vince McMahon returned to WWE last month and since then several names have parted ways with the company including two WWE board members and Stephanie McMahon. WWE has also been making office cuts and it looks like the cuts may continue.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that there have been a lot more cuts on the corporate side of WWE following the return of Vince McMahon. The belief is that the cuts are being made in order to lower costs and get the company ready for a sale.

Recently WWE parted ways with Senior Vice President of International Matthew Drew who was said to be the biggest name that the company let go. Drew joined the company in June of 2021 after coming from DAZN which means that he was a Nick Khan hire as Khan hired a number of people from DAZN in 2021. Matthew Drew’s job reportedly included managing global media partners, devising international strategy for overseas live events, digital, consumer products and new revenue opportunities.

There’s currently no word on how many more people are expected to be cut from the company. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
