The WWE Draft kicked off on Friday night’s episode of SmackDown, and it continued this week on Monday Night Raw.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that all of the top couples in WWE had to be kept together.
This is why Charlotte Flair, Andrade, Zelina Vega and Aleister Black were all moved to Raw. WWE didn’t have any plans to split up the on screen duo of Andrade and Vega.
Paul Heyman is also said to be high on Buddy Murphy, Cedric Alexander and Aleister Black, which is why Black is on the red brand.
It was also noted that the WWE 24/7 Title was moved to Raw, as it was originally an idea from the USA Network that was meant to keep viewers watching in the third hour.
R-Truth is the current champion, so he was kept on Raw, but Carmella was moved to SmackDown so she can be with Corey Graves.
