The mass WWE releases have been a very hot topic in 2021 as the company has released some shocking names such as former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt and former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman. Budget cuts have typically been cited as the reason for the releases.
Many of the released talents have been able to find new homes with other promotions such as AEW and Impact to name a few, and with the talent pool filling up it will be interesting to see how things play out over the next few months.
