Sami Zayn recently challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in Montreal and even though Sami came up short it was still a big moment for his career. It won’t be long before Sami Zayn gets another title shot as it was recently announced that he’ll be challenging Roman Reigns at the March 4th live event in Toronto.

Originally WWE was advertising Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa for the event, but obviously plans have changed. Owens & Zayn are not currently on the same page on TV, and Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the tag team match was changed due to creative reasons as it wouldn’t make sense for Owens & Zayn to team up right now.

It was also noted that at this point just under 6,000 tickets have been sold for the show and another 600 tickets were sold after Roman Reigns was announced for the event.

At this point Roman Reigns is still set to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39 in April. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
