Back in October, WWE wrote Kevin Owens off TV when Bobby Lashley wrapped his leg around the ring post, and it was later revealed that Owens was dealing with a legitimate knee injury.
The former Universal Champion then underwent double knee surgery, and he’s currently on the road to recovery.
Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Kevin Owens is expected to return sometime in late February or March, but noted that it’s possible WWE could hold off on bringing him back until after WrestleMania 35.
Kevin Owens has been keeping busy during his downtime, and he recently challenged Elton John to a match at WrestleMania.
Owens also had nice things to say about the Bumblebee movie, and he made sure to remind everyone that he’s beaten one of the film’s stars.
