It’s been a big year so far for WWE and there’s no denying that 2024 had been a game changer for Damian Priest. Recently Damian Priest won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, and he also confirmed that he signed a new contract with WWE.
Fightful Select reports that Damian Priest’s new deal came together a couple of months ago. It was noted that his contract was originally up in February and it was just days away from expiring.
According to the report WWE sources said that they always intended to keep Damian Priest, and that the two sides had plenty of talks regarding the new deal before it was made official. Damian Priest’s new contract will keep him with WWE for some time as it’s a multi-year deal.
Damian Priest also had full control over his new theme song. It’s also being said that the new entrance song has gone over exceptionally well within WWE.
