Backstage News On Survivor Series Plans For CM Punk

It’s no big secret that some people find CM Punk to be a polarizing figure and there was a lot of speculation regarding how his WWE return would play out. So far things seem to be going well as CM Punk has just joined arguably the biggest storyline in WWE.

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, CM Punk officially joined The Original Bloodline’s team for WarGames which means he will be working alongside Roman Reigns at Survivor Series.

There was a lot of speculation regarding who the fifth member of The Original Bloodline’s team could be leading up to the big reveal. Some people found Punk’s inclusion to be surprising given that Roman previously took a shot at CM Punk during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show earlier this year.

During a recent Q&A on Fightful Select a fan asked if CM Punk joining The Original Bloodline for WarGames was always the plan, and also how Punk and Roman are getting along following Punk’s return.

Sean Ross Sapp noted that CM Punk working with The Original Bloodline was always the plan as far as he knows, and that he has not heard of one single issue of negative interaction involving CM Punk since he returned to the company at Survivor Series last year. It’s being said that CM Punk has been a model citizen and has also been quite helpful.
