The Fiend was one of the most talked about characters on WWE programming for some time, but his momentum was halted when he was defeated by Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37 back in April.

Bray Wyatt later appeared in a Firefly Fun House segment the next night on Raw, and he promised fans that a brand new season was coming for the Fun House. However, Wyatt hasn’t made an appearance on WWE programming since the Raw after WrestleMania.

It’s no big secret that WWE wants to make SummerSlam a WrestleMania level event, and it sounds like there are a few names being considered for the WWE Title match.

It was noted in the recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE doesn’t have a challenger set up for Bobby Lashley at SummerSlam, but Randy Orton could always be elevated to the main event spot. Other names who are on deck include Bray Wyatt, and WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg.

Daniel Bryan is another name that was mentioned, and it was noted that if Bryan does return he would likely return to the Raw brand.
