The WWE Draft always give the company a chance to shake things up and present fresh new match ups on Raw and SmackDown, but it’s been a while since WWE has held one.

Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there was talk of holding a draft in October, and a date was talked about, but WWE didn’t pull the trigger on it. Currently one idea that’s being talked about is to do the WWE Draft after WrestleMania 39 in April.

With October having come and gone and 2022 almost over it seems that there will be no draft this year as the company looks to move forward into 2023. One way or another it will be interesting to see what the rosters look like next time WWE decides to shuffle the deck.

Stay tuned for more updates as they become avaiable.
