All Elite Wrestling has been building up the foundation of their company over the last few months, and WWE has clearly taken notice.
With more events lined up in the months to come, and a TV series set to premiere on TNT later this year AEW shows no signs of slowing down.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a lot of people in WWE are in denial when it comes to AEW, but one person noted the most concerning thing is that stats show AEW fans are not WWE fans.
The belief is that they come from two different camps, one of which despises WWE and wants an alternative, and a younger audience that’s been built up through social media, and one on one marketing who doesn’t care enough about WWE to hate it.
It will certainly be interesting to see how the stats impact WWE programming, as it was also recently reported that the company is trying to create more risque content to appeal to teenage viewers.
