For years people thought of NXT as Triple H’s baby, but last year the brand went through some major changes when it was relaunched as NXT 2.0. With Triple H now taking over creative responsibilities for the main roster following Vince McMahon’s retirement many have wondered what this means for NXT.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the belief in NXT is that the product will somewhat revert back to Triple H’s original vision for the brand.

The belief is that they will continue to heavily recruit top tier athletes, and that they would also be open to using more experienced wrestling talent as well. Going forward the door will be open to better wrestlers who aren’t as big or as good looking as the stars Vince wanted on the main roster.

It’s not expected that Triple H’s format for NXT will carry over to the main roster as he’s said in the past that the brand was catering to a specific audience. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
