Sasha Banks and Naomi became the talk of the wrestling world back in May when it was revealed that the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions had walked out of Monday Night Raw. It was later confirmed that the titles had been vacated and Sasha and Naomi were suspended.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, nothing has been said about Naomi as she has to make a decision. Originally Naomi wanted to return to WWE programming with Sasha Banks as her tag team partner.
Naomi was reportedly told that her options were to sit at home, go elsewhere when her contract expired, or return to WWE programming without Sasha Banks.
It’s been reported that Sasha Banks has been free of her WWE contract for months now, but that she is not allowed to take any wrestling related bookings until January 1st. Banks is expected to be at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom next month. Stay tuned for updates.
