John Cena made a surprise appearance at Money in the Bank last week and the 16 time WWE World Champion announced that he will officially be retiring from in-ring competition next year. Cena later clarified that he hopes to work 30 to 40 dates on his retirement tour which will run from January through December of 2025.
During his surprise appearance at Money in the Bank, John Cena talked about Raw’s big move to Netflix next year and he stated that he will be there. Now the WRKD Wrestling account is reporting that plans call for Cena to be heavily featured on Raw when the show moves to Netflix.
There’s currently no word on who John Cena could be facing in his final matches next year as he indicated during the Money in the Bank post-show press conference that he will be happy to face whoever WWE lines up for him. Cena did confirm that he will be at the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 41, so it will be an interesting year for the former WWE Champion to say the least.
