Back in November of 2023, CM Punk did the unthinkable when he finally returned to WWE at the Survivor Series premium live event. Since then CM Punk has proved to be a big player on the WWE roster.
Fightful Select is reporting that CM Punk is considered full-time with WWE. There’s currently no word on the specifics of his deal regarding money, dates and length, but WWE has claimed that Punk is signed to a multi-year contract. The expectation based on WWE’s claims is that Punk will wrestle 15 to 30 matches per year both televised and non-televised.
It was confirmed a few weeks ago that CM Punk will finally get to live out his dream as he’s set to main event WrestleMania this year when he faces off against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, CM Punk finally revealed the big favor he’s been teasing for months when he told Paul Heyman that he wants him to be in his corner at WrestleMania. Roman Reigns told Heyman to let Punk down easy, but Heyman told the Tribal Chief that he can’t do that.
There’s a lot of drama when it comes to the Paul Heyman situation heading into WrestleMania, but one way or another it will be interesting to see where Heyman’s loyalty truly lies when the Show of Shows airs live from Las Vegas.
