Fans have seen Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar face off many times since WrestleMania 31, and on Saturday night they competed in a last man standing match at SummerSlam with the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line.
At one point Brock Lesnar used a tractor to lift the ring up which caused Roman Reigns to fall out of it toward the announce table. PWInsider reports that the tractor spot was far rougher and harder than anyone had planned for.
There was reportedly one rehearsal for the spot where a member of the production team lifted the ring the day before SummerSlam. Unfortunately for Lesnar the big spot wasn’t enough to help him win the match as The Usos later interfered and Brock ended buried underneath the announce table in what was billed as the final confrontation between Lesnar and Reigns.
At this point it’s not clear when fans will see Brock Lesnar in the ring again, but he is currently being advertised for the WWE Day 1 premium live event in 2023.
