Vice TV’s The Nine Lives Of Vince McMahon documentary recently aired and the show managed to draw 95,000 total viewers. The documentary was criticized for reusing footage from Dark Side Of The Ring episodes and the show also featured mostly comments from reporters instead of wrestlers.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that a lot of talent wanted nothing to do with the documentary. It was added that there were a lot of people who didn’t trust that Vince will never come back, and don’t want to be involved with something that’s negative to Vince.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the following names declined to do interviews for the show: Chris Jericho, Jim Cornette, Eric Bischoff, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Mick Foley, Jim Ross, Jerry Brisco, Jerry Jarrett, and Ted Mann of the Wall Street Journal.

Recently Vince McMahon has been making headlines once again as it’s been reported that the former CEO is interested in returning to WWE, but only time will tell whether or not that happens. Stay tuned for updates.
