Backstage News On AJ Styles’ Contract Status With WWE

0

It’s always unfortunate when a WWE Superstar is sidelined due to injury and AJ Styles has been sitting on the sidelines for months now. The Phenomenal One returned to the ring when he faced off against Carmelo Hayes during an episode of SmackDown in October of 2024, but the match unfortunately had to be stopped due to injury. Styles later confirmed that he suffered a Lisfranc injury and he’s been out of action ever since.

Fightful Select is reporting that AJ Styles’ WWE contract was originally set to be up soon, but it’s possible that injury time could be added to the deal. It was also noted that Styles seems happy in WWE, and he went into his last two contracts with WWE with the belief that it would be the last deal he signed.

AJ Styles first signed with WWE in 2016 then went on to make his debut with the company when he entered the Royal Rumble match. In the months that followed Styles quickly became one of the top stars in the company.

Throughout his run with WWE AJ Styles has managed to become a two time WWE Champion, three time WWE United States Champion, one time WWE Intercontinental Champion and a one time WWE Raw Tag Team Champion.

Stay tuned for more updates on AJ Styles’ status as they become available.
