Sunday night the Impact Wrestling roster got the chance to show the world what they can do at Bound For Glory, and now the stars of Impact are looking ahead to the TV tapings that are set to take place from Canada over the next few days.
Alberto El Patron hasn’t appeared on Impact programming in several months after he was suspended and stripped of his title, but he finally made his return to the company at Bound For Glory.
The main event saw Eli Drake defend his Impact Global Championship against Johnny Impact, and Alberto interfered. Alberto El Patron attacked both Eli Drake and Johnny Impact, and he placed Drake on top of Impact to help him get the pin which resulted in Drake retaining his title.
PWInsider.com is reporting that a lot of the finishes for the pay-per-view, including Alberto’s angle, were last minute decisions. The decisions were reportedly made late in the afternoon and there were a lot of people debating how the finishes should go down.
After the show went off the air, Alberto walked to the back saying “best for business” to the fans as he walked past them. Johnny Impact and Eli Drake then got back to their feet and made their way to the back as well.
