Backstage News Regarding Elias Samson’s Push, Vince McMahon High On Guitar Gimmick

The WWE Universe still isn’t sure what to make of Elias Samson. His run in NXT wasn’t a great success, but WWE officials saw enough in him to bring him to the main roster during the “Superstar Shakeup,” and he’s received a sizeable push on Raw since coming to Raw.

It’s being reported by Pro Wrestling Unlimited that Vince McMahon is extremely high on the heat Samson has been able to create thus far with the guitar segments, which are giving him some creative freedom as a performer that not many WWE Superstars have right now.

Apparently, Samson is given some general direction, but he’s also told to keep going with the segment and play with the tension of the crowd until WWE officials pull the plug. The idea is this will create heat for him because he can keep the promo going for as long as possible.

On paper, it’s a time filler for WWE officials, but it’s a golden opportunity for Elias Samson to show his skills as a performer because the segment will go as long as he continues to keep it interesting. If the fans get into his gimmick, Elias Samson could receive a major push soon.
