This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw focused on the fallout from the Fastlane pay-per-view, and fans saw The Fiend return to Raw for the first time in months.

Randy Orton and The Fiend had a big confrontation during the main event segment of the show, and it was confirmed that they will be facing off at WrestleMania 37 next month.

WWE has been allowing virtual fans to appear on TV via led screens at ThunderDome, and one fan on Twitter noted that the host for the virtual fans wanted “big boos” for Randy Orton during his segment with The Fiend.

It was also noted that the hosts said nothing during The Fiend’s segment at the Fastlane pay-per-view on Sunday, and that no other requests were made during The Fiend’s segment on Raw.

Months ago it was reported that the plan was to book The Fiend and Alexa Bliss as faces in their feud with Randy Orton.

It was announced this week that Orton vs. The Fiend will take place during night 2 of WrestleMania 37. It’s rumored that they will be facing off in a gimmick match but the gimmick has not been confirmed.
