Over the last few years there have been a number of shocking WWE departures, and earlier this year Ava surprised the wrestling world when she decided to leave WWE. At the time the departure sent shockwaves throughout the wrestling world as Ava happened to be the NXT General Manager at the time. She has since been replaced by Robert Stone.
During a recent appearance on The Downside, Ava opened up about her departure from WWE, and she noted that she left the company due to a lot of things that had been on her mind.
“There wasn’t one particular thing, unfortunately. It was like a lot of things and something that had been on my mind for a while. I am so grateful for my time at WWE. I wouldn’t change it for the world. I got to live out the dream. But I think it was just time for something new. It was time for something different. I don’t regret leaving and I’m really happy now.”
Ava was offered a new WWE contract, but declined to sign the deal. Following her departure Ava posted a tweet back in February she broke her silence and posted a tweet which said, “and now that i can say this with my full chest, (middle finger emoji) ice and that entire administration.” Shortly after she ended up deleting her Twitter account altogether.
