When Austin Aries first signed with WWE, fans had high hopes for his run, but things didn’t exactly work out and he parted ways with the company last year. A few years ago at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II, Aries defeated No Way Jose, then he was confronted by Hideo Itami, and WWE recently posted a clip of the confrontation on Twitter.

Austin Aries responded to the clip by asking what Hideo Itami and No Way Jose have done since, and then he asked WWE not to post clips of him anymore.
Ahh yes, my reward after giving @WWENoWayJose the best feud and match of his @WWE career. My first meaningful win in @WWENXT and any equity I’d earned is immediately discredited. And what’s either guy done since? Great success?

As noted, Austin’s ex-girlfriend and current WWE Superstar Zelina Vega recently commented on her relationship with Aries and said that she no longer wants to be associated with him.
