Last week Austin Aries teamed up with Samoa Joe to take on Shinsuke Nakamura and No Way Jose at the NXT live event in Fresno, CA. The main event was stopped by the referee after Austin Aries took a brutal kick to the face courtesy of Shinsuke Nakamura.
PWInsider is reporting that Austin Aries suffered a large orbital fracture due to the kick. According to the report Austin Aries is set to undergo surgery this week in Birmingham, Alabama, and he’s expected to be out of action until the first quarter of 2017.
