There have been a number of WWE departures throughout the year including on screen talent and a number of names who work behind the scenes. Now it seems that another key figure is done with the company.
PWInsider is reporting that Patrick Dooley, Senior Vice President, Global Strategy & Creative Operations, has parted ways with WWE. It was noted that Dooley was essentially Triple H’s number two regarding all matters outside creative.
Patrick Dooley started with WWE back in 2018 as Director of Global Strategy. He was involved with the company’s acquisition of AAA, and more partnerships including bringing AAA to FOX Latin America.
A WWE executive who reportedly had knowledge of the situation noted that Dooley quietly parted ways with the company in late July, which was around the same time as other budget cut departures.
WWE departures have become somewhat of a regular thing throughout 2026, as Road Dogg left his job on the WWE creative team, and notable WWE stars such as The New Day, Kairi Sane, The Motor City Machine Guns and The Wyatt Sicks have all parted ways with the company.
