A few weeks ago Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley announced that the first ever WWE Universal Title match is set to take place at SummerSlam.
After that they announced that the cruiserweight division will be returning to Raw. According to PWInsider.com, WWE will be creating a brand new Cruiserweight Title for the division.
The report notes that the new belt has already been commissioned, but it’s not yet known when the title will be making its debut.
Although it hasn’t been confirmed, there’s been some speculation that the new belt could be introduced during the Cruiserweight Classic finale on September 14th.
