Fans have gotten used to the mass waves of WWE releases, and this week they continued as the company released some key figures involved with NXT such as William Regal and Road Dogg just to name a few.
Fightful is now reporting that WWE has relased Gabe Sapolsky. Gabe broke into the business as the protege of Paul Heyman and he went on to co-found Ring of Honor in 2002. After parting ways with ROH he launched Dragon Gate USA and later EVOLVE. In 2018 Gabe Sapolsky signed a contract with WWE to work as a consultant, but it looks like he is no longer with the company.
Sapolsky commented on the release when he posted the following on Twitter:
Looks like the end of the road. Thank you everyone. Love you all! pic.twitter.com/rcz2A4hOqj

As previously reported WWE issued the following statement regarding the releases:
“With the continued evolution of NXT 2.0, we’ve decided to part ways with some of the staff based in our Performance Center. We thank them for their many contributions throughout the years and wish them the best.”
Stay tuned for updates.
