The Survivor Series card has been well and truly turned on its head this past week after the Raw Tag Team Championships and the WWE Championship changed hands, which meant that the matches for the dual brand event next weekend were also forced to change.
It seems that the shocks are not over yet either, Dirtysheets.net is reporting that another major title is set to change hands next week on SmackDown Live when Charlotte takes on Natalya for the Women’s Championship.
It seems that WWE have booked themselves into a corner when it comes to the women’s matches for the event, since they want Asuka to remain undefeated, but they don’t want the SmackDown Live team to look weak.
The company also wants to hold off as long as they can on having Charlotte and Asuka in the ring together because they feel that match could be a huge draw for the company in the future.
The solution to this is for Charlotte to defeat Natalya next week on SmackDown Live, which would then lead to The Queen facing The Goddess at Survivor Series, a match that the WWE Universe hasn’t yet been able to see on the main roster, where Charlotte could then make her brand look superior.
Asuka’s team can then look unbeatable in the elimination match, because the company needs her to remain undefeated. It seems that the surprises are not over yet as we slowly move towards WWE’s final dual brand event of the year, but three title changes in two weeks could bring the added anticipation to the event that WWE has been looking for.
