Earlier this year WWE started airing vignettes hyping up the return of Alexa Bliss, and she finally stepped back into the ring during Elimination Chamber in Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately there was no follow up on her return, but the former Raw Women’s Champion recently told Adam Glyn that she hopes to be back in the ring soon.
“Hopefully soon. I’m just waitin’ on the call. Been ready to go since before Saudi Arabia,” Alexa Bliss said when asked about a potential return to the squared circle.
Prior to her return at Elimination Chamber fans last saw Bliss wrestled when she competed against Charlotte at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in September of 2021. Bliss underwent sinus surgery following the show, but she confirmed that she is 100% healthy.
It was recently reported that Alexa Bliss voiced her displeasure with the lack of creative plans for her following Elimination Chamber. It was also reported that Bliss was willing to work WrestleMania, and that ideas were pitched to get her involved in the Bianca Belair vs. Becky Lynch feud, but those ideas were quickly shot down.
