AJ Lee recently released her new book “Crazy Is My Superpower” and so far the book has been getting rave reviews. AJ has been doing a lot of press as of late to promote the book.
AJ recently made an appearance on the Jim Norton Show, and she talked a little bit about her husband CM Punk’s MMA debut at UFC 203. Punk unfortunately didn’t last long in the fight, but AJ Lee revealed that he was more than happy with the amount of money he was paid.
“I don’t think it hurt that for one night of working he got paid a million dollars. He was pretty psyched about that. He came backstage with the most giant smile on his face, and he was incredibly sweaty. I just threw myself on him and I was like, ‘I’m so frickin’ proud of you.’ His speech was just so moving.”
A million dollars is a lot of money to get paid for one fight, but CM Punk has yet to return to the octagon. There have been various rumors going around in regards to CM Punk’s next MMA fight, and although AJ didn’t confirm whether or not his next bout is currently being planned, she did confirm that he still wants to fight.
“Yes. He wants to fight again, and I’m never going to be the person that stops someone from doing whatever their dream is, so, I support it.”
