AJ Lee Reacts To CM Punk Mentioning Her On AEW Dynamite

Last week CM Punk made his AEW debut on Rampage, and he cut a passionate promo declaring that he’s back. This week the former WWE Champion appeared on AEW Dynamite for the first time, and he was interviewed by Tony Schiavone.

During the interview Punk hyped up his match with Darby Allin at All Out, retired his Voice of the Voiceless nickname, and he also teased Daniel Bryan’s AEW debut.

Before he left the ring he said that he just wanted to, “say hi to my beautiful wife, sitting at home.” Punk then blew a kiss the camera and said, “I love you, April.”

AJ Lee responded to the namedrop on Twitter when she commented on a clip with a tweet saying, “wasn’t expecting to hear my government name tonight.”

AJ Lee hasn’t wrestled since 2015, but with CM Punk returning to wrestling there are fans out there who are hopeful Lee might consider a return at some point as well. Stay tuned for updates.
