Since AEW first launched in 2019 a number of WWE stars have jumped ship to the company. Over the last few years it’s become more common for AEW stars to jump to WWE as names like Jade Cargill, Ethan Page and Penta have all joined the roster. Now it seems that more names from AEW could be looking to part ways with the promotion and head to WWE.
Lucha Libre Online is reporting that there are several talents who do not feel comfortable with their role in All Elite Wrestling. It’s being said that these talents did not dare explore the option of going to WWE due to the feeling of possibly getting lost in the “monster system that is WWE.”
Those feelings have reportedly been eradicated following Penta’s debut on WWE Raw. Talents who may want to leave the company understand that it’s a strength, and possible bargaining chip to have the AEW brand on their resume.
Talents who are unhappy with their role in AEW are now more willing to look into WWE as an alternative. Two talents reportedly confirmed that they will be exploring free agency in 2025 and will be specifically looking into WWE.
Due to the administrative changes, the changes in culture, and opportunities presented to names like Ethan Page and Lexis King, talents feel more confident about possibly achieving some success with WWE.
