Cody Rhodes recently won the 30 man Royal Rumble match and now he’s heading to WrestleMania 39 to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Rhodes appeared on WWE Raw this week to cut a promo talking about the match and Paul Heyman decided to step in.
Heyman made things quite personal when he told Cody Rhodes that he was Dusty Rhodes’ favorite son, but Roman Reigns was the son he always wanted. Cody got a little heated and told Heyman that since he made things personal he will personally be taking the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship away from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
The segment got a lot of people talking including current AEW stars Dustin Rhodes and TBS Champion Jade Cargill. Dustin reacted to the segment by showing support for Cody when he posted the following: “I love you brother!! @CodyRhodes #FinishTheStory #KickPaulInTheBalls”
