For decades Vince McMahon was the man running WWE, but last year he officially retired and Triple H ended up taking over creative for the company. Triple H worked with a number of wrestlers when he was running NXT including FTR who were known as The Revival in WWE.
During a recent episode of his FTR with Dax Harwood podcast Dax explained the differences when it comes to working with Vince McMahon and Triple H, and he shared his take on how Vince gets respect.
“I think Vince leads through fear. I think he enjoys that. He enjoys being the alpha male, he enjoys people being afraid of him. I don’t think Hunter really wanted to rule with a sword, he wanted to rule with an iron fist and wanted people to respect him. Vince wanted to scare people into respecting him.”
While talking about the differences between Vince McMahon and Triple H, Dax added, “They’re both very approachable, but Hunter is also more receptive to your ideas. We can bounce ideas off of [him] and there were plenty of times when I did. His ideas always came with a great reason and it made sense.”
Dax Harwood has been saying for months now that FTR’s AEW contracts will expire in July. He recently took to Twitter to confirm that he and Cash have made a decision regarding their next move, but it’s not known what their next move it as this point in time. Stay tuned for updates.
Just got off the phone with Cash. We’ve decided what we’re going to do come April. NOTHING is official yet, so legally, can’t speak on it, but in the next couple of weeks, we’ll let all of our fans know. We owe it to y’all for the opportunities we have in front of us. Love y’all.
