The All Elite Wrestling roster is home to many up and coming professional wrestlers, but the company also has its fair share of veterans as well. Dustin Rhodes has been with AEW since the beginning and at 53 years old he’s still able to go in the ring. However, recently Dustin has been hinting that his in-ring career is coming to an end and it looks like he’ll be making it official next year.
According to the Premier Streaming Network, Dustin Rhodes announced at the recent Blizzard Brawl TV tapings that 2023 will be his last year wrestling.

Dustin Rhodes has been teasing retirement for a little while now as he posted the following on Twitter back in October:
“Man, old age has caught up to me guys. As much as I push myself beyond my limits, I can honestly say, I am doing some heavy thinking about the next step. We all think we can go forever with new batteries, but TIME comes for all of us. Kinda scared tbh. #KeepSteppin”

At this it’s not exactly clear how many more matches Dustin will wrestle or if he has specific plans for a retirement match. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
