When All Elite Wrestling first launched in 2019 the company announced a number of high profile signings. However, in recent months several names who joined AEW during the early days have parted ways with the promotion, and now it seems that another departure has been confirmed.
Fightful Select is reporting that Mike Santana is no longer with AEW after being removed from the company’s roster page. It was noted that Santana has not been backstage at AEW events in recent months and he is officially done with All Elite Wrestling.
Santana was out of action for over a year after suffering an injury during the AEW Blood & Guts match in 2022. He ended up returning to All Elite Wrestling in August of 2023.
Originally Santana signed with AEW in 2019 and he went on to join Chris Jericho’s Inner Circle alongside Ortiz on the first episode of AEW Dynamite.
Even though he’s no longer with AEW, Santana is still active on the independent scene. Stay tuned for more updates on Santana’s status as they become available.
