The AEW All In pay-per-view aired live from Wembley Stadium last weekend and it was the biggest show in the history of the company so far. Sting & Darby Allin defeated Swerve Strickland & Christian Cage in a coffin match, but originally it was AR Fox who was supposed to team with Swerve.
Fightful Select reports that unlike the situation with Rey Fenix who was never actually set to work a match at All In, AR Fox was indeed supposed to be part of the show.
Fox has not worked international events since 2016, and AEW didn’t feel that he was forthright about being able to work outside of the country. The reasons why AR Fox is not able to work outside of the country are unknown at this point in time.
AR Fox is said to be well liked in AEW, but there was heat on him due to the situation. Ahead of All In, Swerve Strickland kicked AR Fox out of Mogul Embassy Affiliates. There was some discussion regarding Fox’s status with the group, but ultimately the decision was made to remove Fox from the group and move on.
