It was recently reported that WWE officials were fining wrestlers for “leg slapping” when throwing kicks, and it was also reported that “do not slap leg when kicking” signs were placed backstage at recent WWE TV events.

This week on Dynamite AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks were addressing Fenix and PAC in a backstage promo when they said that they’re the best tag team in professional wrestling. Don Callis then appeared and chuckled as he said,” That was great. You guys almost sound like you believe that.”

When The Bucks asked Callis what he was doing there he said he was worried about their dad, and he said he brought them a shirt for their dad to wear in the hospital. Don Callis then handed The Young Bucks a shirt that said “do not slap leg when kicking” which Matt Jackson threw to the ground.

Callis criticized The Bucks and said that they’ve killed their careers. The Young Bucks accused Don Callis of changing Kenny Omega, and Callis said Omega doesn’t recognize them because they’re not elite anymore.

He asked them when they look in the mirror if they see the same Nick and Matt that he saw in New Japan, then he walked away.
