Adam Copeland came out of retirement a few years ago and since then he’s added several notable chapters to his storied career. Copeland was working as Edge in WWE before his contract expired in September of 2023, and since then he’s been part of the AEW roster.
Ever since he returned to the ring Adam Copeland has made it clear that his window is limited, and recently noted on Notsam Wrestling that he’s looking to get as much done as he can over the next two years.
“If I can do this for a limited time — ’cause it is all limited even though it’s been four years back now. It’s not like I got another four or five in front of me; I know I don’t … We’re looking at a two-year window to get as much done.”
“At most, it’s two times a week. And that’s very doable to still be the dad I need to be, to be the partner I need to be.” Additionally, he recalled how difficult his WWE schedule was in the past. “I still have the time and energy to do that because it’s not as all-consuming as it was, I don’t let it be as all-consuming as it was either.”
Adam Copeland picked up a huge win at AEW Worlds End last month when he defeated Christian Cage to become the new TNT Champion. Unfortunately for Copeland, Christian Cage cashed in a title shot and won the belt back immediately after.
One way or another it seems that Adam’s feud with Christian Cage is far from over. Stay tuned for updates.
