In recent months El Grande Americano has become one of the most popular stars in AAA, and many fans are looking forward to his highly anticipated mask vs. mask match against Original El Grande Americano at Noches de Los Grandes on May 30th.
Ludwig Kaiser is currently dealing with some legal drama as it was reported that he was arrested in Florida due to a battery charge stemming from an alleged physical altercation he got into with a man on April 24th.
El Grande Americano was originally supposed to make a special appearance in Mexico City tonight for the “Serenata for El Grande Americano” event, but it has now been canceled.
AAA issued the following statement confirming the event has been canceled:
“The “Serenata for El Grande Americano” event scheduled for tonight in Mexico City has been canceled. We appreciate your understanding”
As of right now the mask vs. mask match is still on for May 30th, and it was recently reported that Ludwig Kaiser’s attorneys filed a motion this morning in Orange County, Florida Court to allow him to travel freely internationally ahead of the big match. It’s also being reported that Ludwig Kaiser has filed a plea of not guilty for the battery charge and waived his right to appear for his arraignment.
