The NXT roster is loaded with talent right now, and it looks like the stars of WWE’s developmental brand could be stepping into an even bigger spotlight, as it’s been reported that NXT could be going live on USA Network.
A few of NXT’s finest landed roles in WWE’s Netflix film, The Main Event, and the movie recently wrapped shooting.
NXT star Babatunde plays the main villain of the film, and Keith Lee also has an important role in the movie.
According to PWInsider, one source noted that they wouldn’t be surprised to see Keith Lee get a big push when the film is released.
Other stars who appear in the film include Sheamus, The Miz, Beth Phoenix, Mauro Ranallo and Kofi Kingston.
The Main Event is expected to be released on Netflix later this year.
