Over the last few weeks, WWE has been teasing a potential Dean Ambrose vs. Nia Jax match, an recently an ad promoting the match for an upcoming live event has been making the rounds online.
However, it doesn’t sound like the match will be happening at the event it was being advertised for.
John Pollock of Post Wrestling is reporting that WWE has confirmed the ad is “outdated” and “incorrect.”
The commercial originally advertised the match for the WWE live event in Jonesboro, AR on February 22.
WWE recently confirmed that Dean Ambrose will be finishing up with the company in April, and he was once again featured in a segment with Nia Jax last week.
Even though the match isn’t currently scheduled, it will be interesting to see if WWE continues to tease an angle with Nia Jax and Dean Ambrose in the weeks to come.
