Before Daniel Bryan has neck surgery WWE was hoping to have him back in the ring by next month’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view but it appears that’s unlikely at this point. The company is now working on a new card for the show incase Bryan isn’t able to return. The next event would be Battleground on July 20th and WWE is looking at a SummerSlam return date for Daniel Bryan as a worst case scenario.
Several wrestlers from the past mentioned to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Daniel Bryan should tone down his in ring style in order to preserve his long term health. This would include cutting out moves like the diving headbutt and his missile dropkick which have a big impact on his body due to the way he lands.
