Ahead of Monday Night Raw this week, Alexa Bliss announced that she would be holding a press conference, but things didn’t exactly go as planned.
Several Raw wrestlers were ill this week including Finn Balor, Bobby Roode and Alexa Bliss.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bliss was originally set to cut a long promo, but she had a bad cold and a weak voice, which is why WWE officials decided to change plans.
Instead it was Nia Jax who ended up carrying the segment with a long promo.
Jax is set to challenge Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship at WWE TLC on Sunday.
