Cody Rhodes has accomplished a lot in the world of professional wrestling since parting ways with WWE a few years ago, but fans often ask the former Intercontinental Champion if he has any plans to return to the company.
Rhodes recently addressed his status with WWE on Fight Forever Wrestling’s production of Bruce Prichard’s Something To Wrestle With podcast, and he claimed that he passed on a WWE offer a few weeks ago.
He went on to say that he thinks there is a market for non-PG wrestling following All In, and he teased that All In 2 could be an international pay-per-view if it happens.
Rhodes mentioned Australia and the UK as two major markets outside of the US.
“There are two major territories outside of the US in terms of wrestling, the UK and Australia. If you put up a ring they will come.”
As of right now, Cody is set to wrestle his last match with ROH when he challenges Jay Lethal for the ROH World Title at Final Battle later this month.
There’s been a lot of talk in regards to what Cody will be doing next, and it’s rumored that he and The Young Bucks are heavily involved with a new wrestling promotion that could be known as All Elite Wrestling.
