The wrestling world has unfortunately lost another Superstar, as Nick “Big Bully” Busick has passed away at the age of 63.
In 2015 Busick was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, but later announced that he was cancer free in 2016.
Busick was later diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent neurosurgery, and in 2018 he was diagnosed with cancer of the cerebrospinal fluid. Prior to his death he was receiving hospice care. WWE posted the following announcement:
“Former WWE Superstar Nick “Big Bully” Busick has passed away at the age of 63, WWE is saddened to learn. A notorious in-ring villain known for his signature derby and mustache, Busick battled Superstars like Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Sid and The British Bulldog in the early ’90s.WWE extends its condolences to Busick’s family, friends and fans.”
