Monday night wasn’t a good night for Zack Ryder, because he suffered an injury while he was facing Mike Kanellis during the Main Event tapings. Ryder later took to Twitter to say that he wouldn’t be heading to Saudi Arabia for the Royal Rumble because he had to go to Florida to get a MRI. The former Intercontinental Champion has since provided an update declaring that nothing was completely torn, and he will not need surgery.
Got some good news this morning…MCL/ACL/Calf muscle strains…nothing completely torn…no surgery will be needed. Thanks to everyone who reached out. It’s time for #Raw to get #Zacked!

Mark Henry was recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and he’s set to return to the ring on Friday when he competes in the Greatest Royal Rumble match in Saudi Arabia.
The Greatest Royal Rumble match is set to feature some big names such as Chris Jericho and Rey Mysterio, but Henry recently told The National that he’s in it to win it.
“If I am in it I want to win it. I am not here to look pretty. It is a historic event and if I win it my name will be immortalised in the record books so it is something that I am aiming for.”
The stars of WWE will be pulling out all the stops to give the fans in Saudi Arabia an event to remember, and Henry compared the magnitude of the Greatest Royal Rumble to that of WrestleMania.
“You have a a lot of guys who have not wrestled in a long time in the WWE competing. Great Khali, Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley, Rey Mysterio and myself and many others. It is an unbelievable thing. You also have the Undertaker up against Rusev. Triple H against John Cena. This is special. It is like WrestleMania in some of the special events we have going on here.”
